Dr. Burns is well-trained in all aspects of plastic and cosmetic surgery. His philosophy is to achieve the finest possible result with the least risk. This is why Dr. Burns insists on using only physician anesthesiologists for all but the most simple of procedures. In addition, he operates in an on-site fully accredited surgery center, Dallas Day Surgery Center, or at Baylor University Hospital.
As the first plastic surgeon in the United States to complete a fellowship in laser surgery, Dr. Burns brings a unique skill in facial rejuvenation. Many plastic surgeons offer only surgical solutions to restore a more youthful appearance. While surgery can often achieve remarkable improvements, failing to optimize the appearance of the skin will inevitably yield suboptimal results. With his advanced training in laser surgery, Dr. Burns is uniquely qualified to address every aspect of facial rejuvenation.
